This 1-hour course is designed for healthcare professionals seeking to update their knowledge in the treatment of ADHD in children.  This course will provide a thorough research review into evidence-based nutritional interventions. It will include dietary treatments, a review of nutritional deficiencies in children, as well as specific vitamin, mineral and fatty acids which have been shown to improve ADHD symptoms. Due to limited time, this course will not review all of the therapeutics involved in ADHD treatment (e.g., herbal, pharmaceutical, therapy, behavior modifications), but only the highest quality evidence for nutritional interventions.
