Description

A health binder is a convenient way to store all of your child’s health information and paperwork.  It is flexible to meet your needs.

Some families will use their health binder to store basics, track milestones and to be proactive about preventing future health problems.  Other families may have a child with complex or chronic health conditions, and will want to add additional sections to track medication or supplement use, develop care plans, keep track of specialists, or take notes to track progress.

Included in My Health Binder For Kids:

60 pages of content, including:

  • Six Well Child Guides* for ages 5 years, 6 years, 7 years, 8 years, 9 years and 10 years.   Each well child guide includes a naturopathic approach to supporting your child’s health at each developmental stage. (See what is included in each Well Child Guide below.) Each guide also includes pages to take notes, track development and growth, and log vaccinations.
  • Six Herb Guides,* one for each developmental stage that includes herbs appropriate for each age group.  Each herb guide includes information on the active constituents of the herb, safety information, what the herb is typically used for, and conversion guides based on weight.
  • A beautiful cover and additional inside pages including an Emergency Contact sheet, Medication/Supplement list, Appointment log, list of Lab Tests & Procedures, Insurance form, Specialists List with contact information for easy reference, and a sheet for general Notes (you can print as many of these as you’d like if you are a big note-taker like some of us are).
  • Two separate progress calendars with examples.  These pages are for parents/caregivers of children with chronic health or behavior problems to help uncover the underlying cause of the child’s issues.  These pages can be used to track supplements, medications, dietary, lifestyle or behavioral interventions so the caregiver can see what is actually working.
  • A template for printable tabs – we recommend Avery Index Maker Clear Label Dividers with 5 Tabs (5 sets).

(Not included)

This is a printable e-book, which means you will need to print the pages at home or a convenient location. (You can send the files to FedEx office or a similar location and they will print it for you.) This lets families choose what sections are relevant for them.  Plus you can print extra notes pages if needed, multiple copies of the progress calendar, or whatever is specific to your child.

You can decide to print the whole guide in color or black & white, we designed the inside pages to print very nicely either way.   We recommend purchasing a 1/2″ or 1″ binder, and Avery Index Maker Clear Label Dividers with 5 Tabs (5 sets).  Some families really like to get some clear sheet protectors or pocket dividers to store additional items (like insurance cards, your baby’s footprints, etc.)

Then assemble your heart away!  (We promise it is super satisfying!)
